This work was created for an imagined video game tournament. For this work I created a system which could extend across all of the branding, ranging from posters and ID cards all the way to social medias and website. The elements within the pieces are repeated throughout the works, and maintains a consistent identity throughout. I decided to use a dark primary color across the system, as then I could use bright colors to highlight and indicate important items. The inspiration behind the fictional event comes from the competitive players for the game Super Smash Bros. Melee, and the graphical elements revolve around the shield in-game, including the shards of a breaking ‘shield’, hence the name.

This event would extend past just having competitiors in attendance, and would also include a section for vendors or "Exhibitors" to sell their wares/goods during the event's run, similar to how a convention is ran.
